Cooke SP3 6 lens kit for hire

About this kit

The Cooke SP3 kit is six full-frame cine primes, built small enough for mirrorless cameras rather than full-size cinema rigs. It suits short films, music videos, commercials, branded content and interviews where you want the character of Cooke glass on a compact camera build, with focal lengths running from wide establishing frames to close portraits.

They render the way Cooke lenses are known for: warm colour, gentle contrast and a smooth fall-off from sharp to soft that is kind to skin. Every lens opens to T2.4 and has cine-style focus and iris rings, so exposure stays consistent when you swap lenses mid-scene. Focus is manual, so plan for a focus puller or rehearsed marks on moving shots, and judge focus on a proper monitor rather than the camera screen.

The SP3s are made for full-frame mirrorless bodies. Ask us which mount the kit is in, then pair it with the matching body from our shelf, such as the Sony FX3, Sony FX6 or Canon EOS C80. The Atomos Shinobi 7" Monitor + Cage Kit gives you a larger image for checking focus, our Matte Box flags stray light off the front of the lens, and the Sirui SQ75 Carbon Fiber Video Tripod suits locked-off work.

Questions people ask

What's included with each item?
It's listed on the item page under "in the case" — batteries, cards, chargers, cages and cases where they come with the kit. If something you need is not listed, add it from Accessories or ask.
Can I extend while the kit is out?
Yes, if nobody else has it booked — message us before your return date and we update the booking and the invoice. The earlier you ask, the more likely the answer is yes.
What if something gets damaged?
Minor wear is expected and never charged. Accidental damage is covered by your hire agreement: you are responsible for the kit while it is with you, and significant damage is charged at the repair or replacement cost.
