About this kit

Our DZOFILM Arles prime set gives you five focal lengths, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm, each T1.4 in PL mount, and the focus scales read in feet. Coverage stretches to VistaVision-size sensors as well as full frame, and this is the set for drama, commercials, music videos and branded films where you want fast, matched lenses and a proper cine workflow.

Because the five are designed as a matched set, swapping focal lengths keeps the colour and exposure the same, and shots cut together cleanly. T1.4 gives very shallow depth of field and plenty of room in low light, but at that stop focus is unforgiving: this is a set for a crew with a focus puller rather than a solo run-and-gun shoot. They are full-size cine primes with real weight at the front of the camera.

On our Sony FX6, Sony FX3 or Sony A7S III they mount through the Octopus PL-E Mount adapter; build the camera on rods with a lens support so the weight isn't hanging on the mount. Add our Matte Box to flag stray light, and the Atomos Shinobi 7" Monitor + Cage Kit so the focus puller has a larger image to work from.

Questions people ask

What's included with each item?
It's listed on the item page under "in the case" — batteries, cards, chargers, cages and cases where they come with the kit. If something you need is not listed, add it from Accessories or ask.
Can I extend while the kit is out?
Yes, if nobody else has it booked — message us before your return date and we update the booking and the invoice. The earlier you ask, the more likely the answer is yes.
What if something gets damaged?
Minor wear is expected and never charged. Accidental damage is covered by your hire agreement: you are responsible for the kit while it is with you, and significant damage is charged at the repair or replacement cost.
